The typical problem of the dingy one bedroom flat in one of London's mansion blocks was overcome by demolishing the only internal wall to create one unified space. Eating, cooking, study and sleep were brought together in a multi-purpose furniture design assembled on site by a highly skilled joiner. The bed is a trapezoid box supported on a steel tube and ring assembly bolted to the party walls.
